eWallet App Features
A eWallet app can be used for making purchases, paying bills, top-up mobile phones, booking online flights and to send/receive funds.
In order to use the application, Users need to register themselves in the application using their Phone or Email. Their phone number would then be verified with an OTP. After successful registration, to keep application secure, some applications also use KYC precautions to increase the security of all transactions
For using the application, the user would be asked to link their bank account with the eWallet application. The user needs to enter their bank card number, expiry and CVC. This information would be kept confidential and stored in a very secure format using various security compliances. Users would be able to configure more than one bank account to the application.
At any time, Users would be able to transfer the available app wallet amount to their bank account.
For example, users could be asked to set a four-digit secured pin to enable transactions being made quickly.This prevents the user being asked to enter their bank details every time they wanted to move funds. Instead of setting up a pin, another option is to use figure prints.
Users would need to add funds to their app wallet before sending funds to other users. Users can enter the amount that they want to send, and then select the bank that they want to use for that transaction.
The user would be able to check their app wallet balance. They would also be able to see all the incoming and outgoing transactions.
The user would be able to send and receive money through the application. For sending funds, they could enter the recipient phone number or they could scan the bar code of the recipient’s application. The user could also use NFC and beacon technologies for sending funds or for paying bills. In the same manner, the user can receive money from other users. Users can also send payment requests to other users for incoming fund transfers. Once the payment is sent, these funds would be instantly available in the application to use.
Users would be able to check all of the previous transactions they have made on the application. Furthermore, they would be able to see the transaction amount value, the sender or recipient’s details, dates of payments, and any additional comments that were added when the transaction was made.
Additional Advanced Features that can also be used in an eWallet Application
The Geo Location feature can be used for finding nearby users to send/receive funds from.
Every time a user receives funds from another user, he/she would be notified.
To make the app secure and easy to use. The app will be synced with your social accounts and contacts.
An in-app camera can be used for scanning the QR code of a recipient’s app.
For strengthen security of the application, an OTP feature must be included for making any transaction.
To enable fast sending and receiving of funds, the scan QR code feature can be used to simplify the payment process.
eWallet App Admin Panel
It is very important for an eWallet app to have an admin panel with manageable rights to keep the app spam free, safe and secure. The following are features we can provide in the eWallet app admin panel.
The dashboard is a home screen for the admin panel. It appears immediately once the administrator has logged into their panel. The panel will also contain links to other pages.
The administrator would have the authority to see the list of users using the application, and would be able to manage any issues that users had.
The administrator would be able to introduce new offers to the app users. He/she can notify users about the new offers using push notifications and SMS.
The administrator would be able to add new users in the application, and block existing users based on their behavior and suspicious activities.

To ensure payments are transferred successfully, admins would be able to see the transactions overview.
